7 DAY CAPE YORK RIDE/FLY

Cairns to Cape York 7 day ride/fly motorcycle adventure will satisfy the desires of all trailbike riders. Fair Dinkum bike tours offers you the choice to ride from Cairns to Cape York and fly back to Cairns or fly to Cape York and do your ride back to Cairns.

Our 7 day Cairns to Cape York trailbike adventure covers a distance of approx 1400 kms, A lot of Cape York area is quite flat with a variety of different terrain and track conditions. There are a lot of creek and river crossings to encounter along with sand and rainforest. In a normal wet season Cape York gets about 3 metres of rain making for lots of wash outs and erosion ruts on some of the trails.This trail bike adventure will satisfy everyone whilst riding the latest Suzuki DRZ 400E!

Ride through private property exclusive only to Fair Dinkum Bike Tours, you will experience the infamous CREB track ( weather permitting ) through to the Lion’s Den pub and on to Cooktown and Lakefield National Park. Visit Old Musgrave telegraph station, Coen, Archer River and the Frenchmans track. We stay at Bramwell station where there are hot showers and live entertainemt. You will ride the iconic old Telegraph track, visit Fruit Bat falls to finally reach your destination standing at the most northern point of Australia.

While at Cape York after the tour ends you can book with a private fishing charter or do a Island tour visiting Thursday Island and Horn Island this is something extra however you will need to book this yourself. 

Our cape york motorcycle adventure will give you the chance to ride the best dirt bike trails Cape York has to offer, this is definitely for the rider who wants to take a close look at Australia and the outback. You will have the luxury of our fully equipped support vehicle to carry all your gear so you will not have a large bulky back pack with you all day and you arrive into the camp all set up after a long days riding. You get your own individual rain/mozzie proof tent with blow up mattress and sleeping bag.

Owner operator David Williams is a Cairns local of 40 years, he is a ex racing identity having raced in the QLD state enduro and southern motocross races. He has just returned home after competing at the infamous BAJA 1000 in Mexico, the toughest off road desert race in the world. David started Fair Dinkum Bike Tours 18 years ago so combined with his professional expertise and unparalell local knowledge you will experience your trail bike adventure of a life time..
